Wonderful, Dash! You've set the tone for a delightful weekend with these photos. The photo of Beaton & Shrimpton is so joyously lighthearted. And the second photo was obviously taken by Jean Shrimpton! (I'm laughing as I type!) That has to be the youngest photo of Bailey that I've seen. And I love the look on Beaton's face. I'm wondering what the comment was, who actually took the photo - or if they set the camera to 'timer' (I don't see a cable release) and they're waiting for the 'click'. So enjoyable to see two World Class photographers on the other side of the camera. And Beaton, the painter, here. Thank you! Wishing you a wonderful weekend, too!
Hello:
ReplyDeleteOne of the world's greatest photographer pictured by another. Spectacular.
Jó hétvégét.
Alas, my comment is more superficial than our dear Jane and Lance: what a hottie David Bailey is in that photo! Hope that made you smile.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos...ah the Shrimp...such insouciance.
And thank you for your thoughtful comment chez moi, I am glad that you came back for a second try. Bon WE!
You always have the best photos Dash! We had a chair like the one Jean Shrimpton is sitting in when I was growing up. It was so cool!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Dash for a lovely weekend.

ReplyDeleteAt last! Got back onto your blog without the mac spinning endlessly and uselessly...
ReplyDeleteJean Shrimpton - looks fantabulous. David Bailey - sexy as all out, apart from the leather trousers, but I'll ignore that.....
Have a great weekend!
