Baron de Meyer is often credited with being the first fashion photographer, personally I think his work is sublime, he has an interesting Wikipedia entry too...
Le Compte Etienne de Beaumont 1919

You never, ever disappoint Dash. I found photography through De Meyer and Steichen's "fashion" work, although we both know that it goes far, far beyond that...
Hope you are staying warm!

Amazing photos. It won't come as a surprise that my favorite is the one of Coco Chanel... And I agree with Heather: You never disappoint, Dash. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Egads! The beauty! The man in the cutaway! I do want to pull that woman back from the edge of the stairs, though... she's making me nervous.

I just found your blog and love it. Thank you for putting heaven into the Internet.
I love things French. Not only because I am a Frenchman living in America often dreaming of my Douce France, but also because I own an art gallery of mostly French art. Check it out www.mapsandart.com
By the way I love your style!
