The Real Star Of Something's Gotta Give

Something's Gotta Give, is a great feel good film, but who was the real star?

Was it Jack Nicholson?

Was it Diane Keaton?

Was it Keanu Reeves?

Was it Frances McDormand?

No, the real star was that fabulous beach house......

  1. Oh isn't that just divine. There are quite a few American films that feature beach houses - usually with panoramic views of the Pacific and I sit there not very silently craving such a space.

How lovely to live in a 'film star' house.

  3. I love this film and watch it several times a year. Tomorrow I leave for the beach where I stay in a fabulous beach house-just steps away from the water. Lots of reading, walking, wine in front of the fire and simple but delicious meals. This is a great post~ thank you!

  4. I'd vote for Frances McDormand but that house would be a very very close second :-)

  7. I saw your little thumbnail title and I knew you were going to talk about this house - it is divine, perfect even. The film is wonderful too. I rate the house right up there with the potager in the last Streep/Martin/Baldwin film.

  8. It's a fabulous house...but with all that space,it had better come with a cleaning lady...or it's not a vacation!

  9. Couldn't agree more...but Diane Keaton's pretty flash too I think.

  15. I love-love-love that house. I also loved the house in "It's Complicated". I could move into either one and not change a thing.
